Tribeca Film Festival – Faces of Film
Promote the Tribeca Film Festival by displaying “Faces of Film” throughout New York City.
Collaborating with long time partner Tribeca Film Festival, American Express introduced the Faces of Film campaign to New York City, giving New Yorkers the opportunity to have their photos featured on buildings throughout the city to celebrate the Tribeca Film Festival. Over the course of five nights, NMS displayed the faces on buildings from Union Square to Tribeca. Utilizing photo-streaming technology, NMS was able to use photos taken the same day at the American Express Faces of Film truck.
The impact of the Faces of Film campaign was felt almost immediately. New Yorkers were thrilled with the opportunity to see their faces in bright lights in support of their favorite local film festival. Social media played an integral role in spreading the word, and users looked to outlets such as Twitter and Instagram to post their own videos of friends & family featured on walls throughout NYC.
90 Years of Kleenex
Promote 90 years of Kleenex and their partnership with Isaac Mizrahi with a unique, one day event.
To celebrate 90 years of Kleenex design, NMS engineered, designed and built a twelve-foot tall LED screen tissue box, situated in Grand Central Terminal’s legendary Vanderbilt Hall. Featuring 90 years of Kleenex designs rotating on the screens, the LED tissue box gave a glimpse at the rich design history of the brand. Accompanying the LED tissue box were four customs kiosks that provided consumers with one-to-one engagement. The kiosks allowed consumers to choose their favorite designs and see them instantly on the twelve-foot tall LED tissue box. The kiosks also gave consumers the opportunity to Tweet their choices, and enter for a chance to win a $500 shopping spree. The NMS produced event included Kleenex Brand Ambassadors engaging consumers throughout Vanderbilt Hall, as well as on the streets surrounding Grand Central Terminal, providing insight on the brand while distributing the haute Kleenex slim packs. The event culminated with renowned designer Isaac Mizrahi revealing his brand new designs for Kleenex on the LED tissue box.
NMS successfully promoted the Kleenex brand with a custom LED tissue box campaign. Brand ambassadors distributed over 16,000 units of branded collateral during the event and engaged with hundreds of thousands of consumers throughout the event space. In addition, there were hundreds of unique Twitter click-throughs from the digital kiosks. An estimated 900,000 people walked by the event space over the 12 hour period.
New Year’s Resolution – Billboard Mapping
Celebrate the new year in true Red Bull fashion with a brand new type of activation.
To help Red Bull ring in the new year, NMS collaborated with Colossal Media to deliver a unique twist on the standard painted Mural. Using projection mapping technology, NMS was able to bring the static mural to life when the lights went down. In addition to the illuminated Red Bull can, consumer-generated New Year’s resolutions were displayed amongst the painted backdrop.
Manhattan and Brooklyn residents alike were taken aback by the fusion of static and moving imagery, and were also delighted to see their New Year’s resolutions come to life in bright lights. Consumers were happy to see something as standard as a painted mural taken to the next level with the addition of technology.
